2024 Fun Run Schedule

The dates for this summer are as follows:

June 2 * June 16 * July 7 * July 21

The Neenah Summer Fun Runs are held at Memorial Park In Neenah. Check-in at the George Scherck Shelter.

The first race begins at 7pm

Distances for the Fun Run Series:

Ages 6 & under - 400 or 800 meters (¼ or ½ mile)
Ages 7-9 - 800 meters ( ½ mile)
Ages 10-14 - 1600 meters ( 1 mile)

Boys and girls will run in separate events within each age group.

About

The Neenah Summer Fun Run program is a series of free running events provided every summer for children ages 14 and under. The events, including post-run refreshments and awards, are provided at no cost to participants thanks to the generosity of local sponsors.

The program has been a treasured summer tradition for more than 25 years. It was started in 1996 by a group of local running enthusiasts, including coaches and former Neenah High School athletes. Many of them are still actively involved today. 

The Fun Runs operate under the umbrella of the Neenah Park & Recreation Department and is staffed completely by volunteers.

Registration Information

Participants are encouraged to register in advance for the Neenah Summer Fun Run Series. You only need to register once for the entire series. A race tag can be picked up at the shelter prior to your event.

Day of registration is available on site at the George Scherck Shelter prior to the event. Please allow plenty of time to get registered before the start of your event.
